Monica J. Conrad attended Indiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Science and Master Degree in Special Education. She obtained her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1993.

Ms. Conrad’s practice is devoted to the representation of Schools, covering a large range of legal matters, including:

Prior to entering the practice of law, Ms. Conrad was licensed in Indiana as a director of special education and as a teacher for all grades for the mildly mentally disabled, emotionally disabled and learning disabled. She is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Indiana and the State of Illinois; and is admitted to the United States District Court, Northern Districts of Indiana and Illinois, Southern District of Indiana, and the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit and has represented schools in each of these venues. Ms. Conrad speaks to numerous schools and school associations nationally and throughout Indiana on a variety of education law related topics. She is a member of the Indiana State and Illinois State Bar Associations; Indiana Family Support Council (1993-1995); Lake County Bar Association; National Council of School Boards Association – Council of Attorneys; Illinois Association of School Attorneys.
