
Emilie E.D. Hunt
Emilie E.D. Hunt received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Prior to pursuing her law degree, Emilie worked at a long-term care facility specializing in music therapy for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. In 2009, she graduated, with distinction, from Western Michigan University – Cooley School of Law where she was an Honors Scholarship recipient and served as Associate Editor for the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. While in law school, Emilie interned with Elder Law of Michigan. Dually licensed in Indiana and Illinois, Emilie began her legal career with a Chicago-based firm developing a successful mediation and loss mitigation department. Emilie resides with her family in Valparaiso and is committed to community involvement and volunteer work, with a focus on reducing gun violence.
